Nice to meet you!
I'm Karly Hudson, an ambitious 2L law student at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, based at the Tampa Bay Riverview campus. My passion for law encompasses a wide array of interests, including Business Litigation and Criminal Law, each offering unique challenges and opportunities for growth. My ultimate goal, upon completing my studies at Cooley, is to contribute my skills to a prominent litigation firm in the vibrant Tampa Bay area.
I actively participate in Mock Trial and serve as Marshal & Public Relations Officer for Phi Alpha Delta, a distinguished legal fraternity. I have recently been inducted into Phi Delta Phi, the legal honor society as well where I have been elected to serve as their Historian. Additionally, this past summer I had the opportunity to gain valuable experience through a Judicial Internship and I'm currently a business litigation intern at a boutique firm in Tampa.
With dedication, involvement, and a thirst for knowledge, I'm determined to make a lasting impact in the legal field, leaving my mark on the Tampa Bay legal community and beyond.

Educational History
Cooley Law School
My time at Cooley Law School as a dedicated 2L has been a journey filled with growth and achievement. My involvement in various facets of the legal community, including serving as an Associate Member of the Mock Trial team, being an active member of Phi Alpha Delta, and gaining recognition in Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, has not only expanded my network but also deepened my understanding of the legal profession. Excelling in my first-year courses, with the honor of earning three Certificates of Merit in Contracts I, Contracts II, and Property I, has reinforced my commitment to academic excellence. Additionally, my hands-on experiences have been invaluable. I completed a judicial internship under the honorable Judge Baggé-Hernández, where I gained insights into the judicial process, and I am currently interning at a dynamic business litigation firm, further solidifying my practical legal skills. As I continue my journey at Cooley, I'm eager to continue learning, growing, and contributing to the legal field.

I'M KARLY
I am a passionate J.D. student at Cooley Law School in Riverview, FL. My current interest is in business litigation and criminal law. I'm gaining practical experience as a Business Litigation Intern at Halmon Law in Carrollwood. I'm also involved in Phi Alpha Delta, Phi Delta Phi, and the Mock Trial Board while serving as an Ambassador for the Journey to Esquire®️ Program, emphasizing my commitment to law and diversity.
Last semester I had the honor of interning under the Honorable Judge Michael Baggé-Hernández in the Domestic Violence Division of the 13th Judicial Circuit in Downtown Tampa, FL.
